Nasdaq, S&P rally post Fed pause, semiconductor stocks jump U.S. stocks ended the session mixed after the Federal Reserve paused rate hikes but signaled two more will likely take place this year. The S&P 500 and the Nasdaq Composite rose for a fifth session helped by chipmakers Nvidia, Intel and AMD. The Dow Jones Industrial Average lost over 200 points, off the worst levels of the session.
